Learn more about the life of William “Buffalo Bill” Cody, the Wild West show, and how his relationship with American Indians evolved during his lifetime at the Buffalo Bill Museum in Lookout Mountain Park.  Enjoy unparalleled views of Denver and Golden from the museum’s observation deck, which is free to the public. Buffalo Bill and Louisa Cody’s final resting place is a short five-minute walk from the museum.  Feel the breezes from the high peaks of the Continental Divide, smell the Ponderosa Pines, and watch the mountain wildlife, all just thirty minutes from downtown Denver.
From May 1 to October 31, the museum is open seven days a week,  9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.  From November 1 to April 30, the museum is open Tuesday through Sunday, from 10:00 a.m. to 5 p.m.  Lookout Mountain Park opens daily one hour before sunrise and closes one hour after sunset.
